The Total Woman Conference theme is Focused on Excellence and features inspirational keynotes, an empowering panel discussion, exhibitors, networking, door prizes, plus a Dress for Excellence Fashion Show. Featured speakers and presenters are recognized corporate, academic, business, and community leaders who offer practical advice and tools designed to help girls and young women succeed academically, personally, professionally and spiritually.

Conference Information

Total Woman Conference for Girls and Young Women is being presented by Saint Joseph College Office of Diversity Initiatives in partnership with Royal Proclamations. Saint Joseph College is a comprehensive institution with career-focused undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs. Enhanced by the Catholic intellectual tradition and the values of its founding Sisters of Mercy, the College allows students to thrive in a culture of achievement and collaboration. It offers solid professional training grounded in the liberal arts and is consistently cited on the national level for the quality of its academic programs. Royal Proclamations is a training, coaching, and speaking practice, which has inspired several hundred men and women to greater personal and business fulfillment. Keynote Speakers

Melinda Weekes—“Focused on Excellence” Melinda works as a Senior Associate at the Interaction Institute for Social Change, and brings a diverse set of skills to her work from professional experiences in law, community development, urban ministry and nonprofit consulting. Melinda holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Wesleyan University, a Juris Doctorate from New York University School of Law, and a Masters of Divinity degree from Harvard Divinity School. Princess Bola Adelani —“Wired for Excellence” Princess Bola Adelani is the Founder/CEO of Royal Proclamations. She is an honors graduate with a law degree from England's University of Buckingham. For close to a decade, she practiced corporate law in England and Nigeria. Princess Bola chose to put aside her legal career to pursue her passion: Motivating people to gain the knowledge, power, and skills to pursue their passions, live their dreams, and realize their potential and as a result she founded Royal Proclamations, a coaching, training and speaking firm located in Hartford, CT.
